As the N-Dubz star confirms her exit from the hit music reality series, we asked Capital listeners to vote on Facebook for who they would most like to see take to the judges seat for the 2013 series.

Close friend Demi Lovato is returning for a second stint on the US version of the show and what better way for Simon Cowell to keep tabs on both shows.

The 'R.I.P' singer is another star with experience finding talent and was highly praised by Tulisa when she helped out at the London auditions last year.

Could it happen? Could The X Factor bosses enlist the help of fellow N-Dubz star Dappy to take over from his cousin on the show? One thing's for sure, the pair's Twitter feeds would be more than explosive following the pair's previous debates on talent shows.

His best mate Gary Barlow is already on the panel, he's helped mentor contestants in the past and helped pick the finalists for his Take That bandmate before. It's hard to imagine a series of X Factor without Robbie so what better way then to get him on board full time.

He's the man in charge of the whole entire empire and ultimately the man who gets the final say. The fans have been longing for a return of the music mogul who started the whole thing. Is now the time for Simon to come home?

She's the most widely rumoured star to be making a return as rumours of Tulisa's future circulated. Nicole Scherzinger has also voiced her admiration for Ozzy's wife. With one fiery female leaving, surely it's only fitting that another steps in?

Topping the poll by some margin was the Girls Aloud singer. Louis Walsh recently said it "wouldn't surprise" him if Chezza made a return despite her previous comments about never coming back. She was axed from the US version in 2011 but made a return last year to help Gary Barlow pick his contestants. Cheryl's said that she's no immediate plans to make new music and recently split from Girls Aloud. Could it happen!
