Usher Confirmed For Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2012

The R&B star will make a return to the summer event at Wembley Stadium this year.

Usher has been confirmed to appear at this year's Summertime Ball in London this summer.

The 'Climax' star will perform some of his biggest hits when he takes to the stage at Wembley Stadium on 9th June 2012.

Usher's special performance will come ahead of the release of his new album, which is tentatively titled 'Looking For Myself'. The record features the Diplo-produced single 'Climax', which debuted on the Vodafone Big Top 40 this month.

The singer previously appeared at the Summertime Ball in 2010 when he opened the show.

The line-up for the 2012 Summertime Ball also includes British stars Coldplay and rapper Example who have already been confirmed for the huge summer music extravaganza.

The R&B star has won seven Grammy Awards and shifted over 65 million records worldwide in his career.

Meanwhile, alongside the upcoming release of his new record, the American star has been confirmed to play Sugar Ray Leonard in a new boxing biopic film and will make a return to the theatre stage this month for a starring role in the off-Broadway show 'Fuerza Buerta: Look Up'.

Tickets for the fourth edition of the event go on general sale on Monday (23rd April 2012) at 8am.
