The 'Numb' singer also turned on the lights for the Empire State Building ready for the US holiday.
Usher kickstarted Independence Day holiday in the US this week by closing out trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
The 'Scream' singer was given the honour of ringing the final bell on Wednesday (3rd July) to begin the annual holiday, to huge cheers from the brokers in attendance.
Usher opted for a simple outfit of black jeans and a matching t-shirt to close out trading on Wall Street this week, ready for 4th July celebrations across the country.
The R&B star even played around on the Stock Exchange's iconic phones while pretending to trade some shares on the floor.

Later in the day Usher also had the honour of turning on the celebratory lights on the city's Empire State Building to mark the occasion.
Usher is currently working on his eighth studio album and has promised a return to his early R&B sound for the record.
