The X Factor UK stars say it made them "bawl" to read all the messages of support from fans hearing the song.
Union J have revealed how emotional they were to hear new song 'Carry You' on-air for the first time today, after the single's first play on Capital FM this morning (22nd April).
Band member JJ admitted he was feeling quite tearful when reading all the messages on Twitter from fans having heard 'Carry You' on the radio, and revealed that it did made him "bawl" a little bit.
"We started crying," JJ told Capital, when asked about the first play today, while Josh added: "Yeah, JJ's eyes kinda started to melt.
"I was looking at all the tweets after and the support and what people were saying was so nice," JJ explained. "It just kind of made me bawl a little bit."

The X Factor UK 2012 stars went on to discuss their debut song 'Carry You', and described it as a "feel good song" that was made to make people smile.
"The message of the song is [that] we've been on a massive roller caster the last year with each other, and it's about being there for each other," Jaymi explained. "it's there for the fans, we really wouldn't be here without them.
"Obviously our fans are quite young girls and young boys who are going through a tough time at the moment, so I think it's important that they know that someone is there for them.
"it's uplifting, it's a feel good song," Josh added. "It's nice to listen to a song that you finish listening to and you're happy."
Fans hailed Union J's first single as "amazing" after hearing it on Capital FM airwaves this morning for the first time.
Union J are set to release 'Carry You' as their first song on 2nd June.
