The Wanted On New Album Progress: "It's Really Coming Along!"

The 'Chasing The Sun' singers say they are really excited about work on their next record.

The Wanted have revealed work on their third studio album is "really coming along", after heading into the recording studio to work on new music over the past week.

Nathan Sykes teased fans over the weekend by claiming the 'Glad You Came' stars have been "making history" in the studio, and has continued to update fans on their progress this week.

"Listening to some of the demos the boys were writing last week makes me very excited for the album!!" Nathan tweeted earlier today (15th May).

"What's up people? Photoshoot today :) then studio later," fellow band member Tom Parker also posted. "The album's really coming along x." 

The Wanted recently released a self-titled EP as their first US release, following previous UK albums 'The Wanted' and 'Battleground'.

Last week the 'Lightning' singers filmed a second music video for their new single 'Chasing The Sun', ready for the song's use on the soundtrack for upcoming animated film Ice Age 4: Continental Drift. 

The Wanted will officially release 'Chasing The Sun' as their next single on 20th May.
