The Wanted's Nathan Sykes "Overwhelmed" By Messages Of Support After Throat Operation

The 'Lightning' singer has also been went wishes of a speedy recovery by his bandmates.
The Wanted's Nathan Sykes says he has been "overwhelmed" by the messages of support sent to him, after undergoing specialist surgery on his throat this week.
It was announced this week that the 'Glad You Came' singer will take an "unforeseen hiatus' from the UK group to recover from a throat injury, and spent his 20th birthday yesterday (18th April) going under the knife.
"Out of surgery… what a way to spend my birthday!" Nathan tweeted on Thursday. "Not gonna lie, I have been completely overwhelmed by all of the love, support and birthday wishes from you guys. You are all amazing!"
The 'I Found You' star has also received messages of best wishes from some of his bandmates, who are expected to still continue on as a four-piece for the time being.
"@NathanTheWanted get well soon my brother… love you mate… and hope you're as happy as u were when u woke up from the op!" Max George tweeted, while fellow The Wanted star Tom Parker posted: "Just seen Nath. He was away with the fairies but doing OK. Grateful for all your messages x.'
