The UK singer also says fans will realise the band's friendship is real from watching their new E! show.
The Wanted's Max George says he expects to learn a lot about himself from watching back the band's upcoming reality series The Wanted Life.
The 'Walks Like Rihanna' five-piece will star in a new E! documentary launching in early June that follows their life out in Los Angeles, and Max says he hopes people will realise how close the group actually are.
"I think I'm probably going to learn a few things about myself I didn't know," Max told Ryan Seacrest this past week. "I think one thing is definitely the bond I have with my brother and the bond I have with my mum. I'm very, very close with them two.
"As a group I think people will realise when we say we get on like brothers, we actually do," the UK singer explained. "I think a lot of the time, bands have to say that or if they didn't people will think, 'Surely that doesn't work?'
"But we genuinely do really get on and we don't just work together, we actually do everything else away from work most of the time with each other as well."
