The Wanted tweet from the studio

The Wanted have given fans an update on their new album.

'Literally making magic in the studio today!!!' Nathan Sykes tweeted from the studio.

His short tweet suggests the band are finally moving along quite quickly with the follow up to their 2010 self-titled debut.

The singer recently admitted that the band had been slacking over the recording of their new album and they'd only laid down two tracks.

The boys are set for a busy summer including a date at Wembley Stadium for the Capital Summertime Ballon June 12.
