The 'Hall Of Fame' singer says the band still "really believe" in the hit music reality series.

The Script singer Danny O'Donoghue has confessed that he is excited to be heading back for The Voice UK series two next year.

The 'Six Degrees of Separation' star recently confirmed his involvement in the new season of the show alongside Jessie J, Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am.

He told the publication that his decision to sign up initially this year "could have gone really wrong" but said his bandmates are very much behind the music reality series.

"The Script backed it and I still really believe in the show," he confessed.

The singer also said that any talk of the show's ratings was also of no concern to him.

"I know the ratings kind of dropped off towards the end when people had become familiar with the format but I was excited by it," he said. "I'm still excited about going in to do the second series later this month. I feel that we needed it to work."

Meanwhile, The Script are preparing for their appearance at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball this weekend.

The Irish stars will appear on a line-up which includes the likes of Rita Ora Lawson and Cheryl Cole.

Bruno Mars, Pink and One Direction will also be on stage at London's O2 Arena.
