Great news for fans of Taylor Swift - she has confirmed that 'Welcome To New York' will be the next single to be released from her new album '1989'!
Taylor confirmed the news on Good Morning America, saying, "I started the album with 'Welcome to New York', because New York has been an important landscape and location for the story of my life in the last couple of years. It's like an electric city, and I approached moving there with such wide-eyed optimism."
"I saw New York as a place of endless potential and possibilities, and you can hear that reflected in this music and in this song."
'Welcome To New York' is set to drop today, and Taylor teased the news on Twitter, saying:

The 'Shake It Off' star later confirmed that album track 'Welcome To New York' is the exciting song in question, which will be out on iTunes from midnight, and you can listen to the teaser above!
Taylor also recently dropped ‘Out Of The Woods’ but has said that that won’t be the next single from the album.
‘1989’ was inspired by songs from the ‘80s, and took Tay Tay two years to complete – and with tracks like ‘Welcome To New York’, it definitely showcases a different side to Ms Swift.
‘1989’ will be released on 27th October.
