The '22' singer was seen sharing a scene with series star Zooey Deschanel on set this week.
Taylor Swift was spotted on the set of US comedy series New Girl this week as she filmed her guest spot on the show's upcoming season finale.
The FOX series, now in its second season, will feature the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer as a wedding guest at the nuptials of main character Cece to her fiancé Shivrang.
Taylor stars as a character called Elaine on the the finale episode, while show runner Liz Meriweather says she had no qualms about casting the US superstar in the role.
"I'm a huge fan of hers" Liz told EW this week, regarding the cameo. "I was fully geeing out about meeting [her].
"I didn't go to meet her right away because I kind of had to compose myself, there's a 14 year-old girl inside of me," she explained, before revealing Taylor is a huge fan of the show. "She was quoting lines to us from the show, it was a really exciting night."

The show runner went on to say that Taylor "nailed" her scene, while New Girl actor Jake Johnson also praised her role in the show's finale episode.
This week it was widely rumoured that Taylor is set to release her Ed Sheeran duet 'Everything Has Changed' as the next single from her 2012 album 'Red'.
Taylor Swift's guest appearance on New Girl is set to air on 14th May in the US.
