The 31 year-old actor was found by hotel workers in Vancouver after he failed to check out.
Glee star Cory Monteith has been found dead at his hotel on Saturday (13th July) afternoon, it has been announced.
The 31 year-old star, famous for his role as Finn Hudson in the hit US show, was a guest at Vancouver's Fairmont Pacific Rim and found by workers of the hotel after he failed to check out.
Police are yet to confirm the cause of death, but have ruled out any foul play.
Stars from the acting community and the music world have been reacting to the news on Twitter, with Taylor Swift admitting she was left "speechless" upon hearing the news.

One Direction star Niall Horan also logged onto his social networking account to offer his condolences to the family of the late star.
He wrote: "RIP cory ! Didn't know him personally! Met him on a couple of occasions! Super nice guy! Thoughts and prayers with his family and friends! X."
Demi Lovato and The Wanted are also among the stars paying tribute to the actor upon hearing the sad news.

The '22' singer was rumoured to have dated Cory back in 2010 when they were pictured bowling and sharing an intimate embrace.
Cory recently voluntarily checked himself into rehab for substance abuse back in March – checking out a month later.
