The 'Love Story' singer says the journalist "dovoted his life to writing about music from a place of integrity".
Taylor Swift has taken to Twitter to offer a tribute message to the music writer Chet Flippo – who died on Wednesday (19th June).
The journalist passed away from pneumonia aged 69 and was commended for his "integrity" in his work by the 'Everything Has Changed' singer.
She wrote: "We've lost Chet Flippo, one of my favorite journalists, who devoted his life to writing about music from a place of integrity. So sad."
Chet was the Bureau Chief for Rolling Stone and Billboard during his career and wrote a number of books on stars such as Elvis Presley, Hank Williams and Paul McCartney.

Taylor has also been on Twitter to post her first Vine this week – which sees the singer watching Titanic with her cat on a day off from her 'Red' tour.
Meanwhile, former boyfriend John Mayer released his new song 'Paper Doll' - which is believed to be about the country singer.
