Man Arrested After Stabbings At Swedish House Mafia Gig

The 23-year-old has been charged over Phoenix Park incident, which saw attackers use knives and broken bottles.

A has been arrested after several people were stabbed during an altercation a music event in Dublin headlined by Swedish House Mafia.

The 23-year-old has been charged in connection with the incident at Phoenix Park on Saturday (7th July).

Local police believe a combination of knives and broken bottles were used during the attacks.

Up to nine people are reported to have been stabbed inside the venue. Two remained in hospital on Sunday night (8th July) - one man with a back injury and another with a punctuated lung.

According to the Irish Times, the dance festival saw more than 30 people arrested for offenses ranging from knife attacks to public order offences.

Last month, Swedish House Mafia announced plans to stop performing live after their upcoming tour dates.

The Swedish dance trio, whose songs include 'Miami 2 Ibiza' featuring Tinie Tempah, will still carry on producing.
