Grime doesn't pay is what people have said for years, but with the massive boost in the success of the genre on a mainstream level recently thanks to the likes of Stormzy and Skepta, it seems that it certainly does pay...and very well at that!

So when #CapitalSTB artist Stormzy bought his mum and sister a brand new Mercedes car each, plus some new Louis Vuitton gear to go with it too, he pretty much demonstrated just how much his life (and bank balance) has changed over the last 18 months.

Considering that everyone who knows him will admit that he's the nicest guy on the planet, we're not that surprised to see him treating his family to some luxurious items.

Both his mum and sister's reactions were incredible and they appeared genuinely shocked and humbled by Stormzy's kind gesture. Are they not one of the coolest families out there? Remember the time Stormzy's mum stole the show in his music video for 'Know Me From'? Legendary.
