"When we'd finished watching The Wire it was almost like losing a close friend," Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens told The Sun, about the popular HBO series West starred in. "Being able to have the star of the show on our record was definitely one of those 'pinch myself' moments."
Jordan went on to explain that getting Dominic involved with the record came about because he is close friends with the main producer behind 'Roaring 20s', Ant Whiting.
"We'd mentioned to Ant about our love for The Wire and he said, 'Yeah we go way back. He lives around the corner. We should get him to do something on a track'," the 'Mama Do The Hump' rapper explained. "Having Dom in the studio was awesome.
"Not only did we have a proper laugh making the song, we were able to have some drinks, which was a good opportunity to get to know him and ask him a bucketload of questions," he added.
