Rihanna Launches River Island Fashion Collection In London Dressed In Her Own Design

The 'Diamonds' singer was also seen hugging and kissing fans outside her hotel in the UK capital.

Rihanna had a big impression on Monday evening (4th March) when she arrived at Oxford Street in London to launch her River Island fashion collection.

The 'Diamonds' singer debuted her first fashion foray at London Fashion Week last month, and turned out in person wearing one of her own designs to launch the range at River Island's flagship UK store yesterday.

Rihanna opted to dress in a slinky black floor length gown for the fan event, which featured a thigh-high split as well as a cut-out back, and paired the look with burgundy heels and bright red lipstick.

The Rihanna For River Island launch also saw a number of models parading around the shop in some of the range, giving fans their first chance to see the line up close.

Earlier in the day the 'Stay' singer met fans outside her hotel in London, where she was spotted speaking to and hugging some of those who had waited hours for a glimpse of the Bajan star.

Last week Rihanna revealed she hopes to start a family within the next five years, as well as describing on-off boyfriend Chris Brown as "the one".

Rihanna kicks off her 'Diamonds' world tour on 10th June at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
