The 'Talk That Talk' singer will allegedly sing 'Princess Of China' live with the indie band at next year's awards show.
Rihanna and Coldplay will reportedly perform a duet together at the BRIT Awards in 2012.
The Jingle Bell Ball performer and four-piece indie band will allegedly give their first live performance of joint single 'Princess Of China', which appears on Coldplay's recent album 'Mylo Xyloto'.
"Coldplay are really looking forward to performing Princess Of China with Rihanna already," a source told the Daily Mail. "Brit bosses set their sights on getting them on stage together early doors.
"They are two of the biggest acts around right now," they added.
A spokesperson for the event said they are "still confirming the line-up" but promised they will have "the biggest names in music performing".
Noel Gallagher and Adele are also expected to perform at the prestigious ceremony, while James Cordon will return to host once again.
Rihanna recently promised fans she would "always come back" to the UK, following the end of her 'Loud' tour later this month.
The BRIT Awards will take place on 21st February 2012.
