PSY Breaks Single Day YouTube Record As 'Gentleman' Surpasses 200 Million Views

The 'Gangnam Style' star's follow-up hit is proving to be a huge traffic driver on the Internet.

PSY's recently unveiled music video for 'Gentleman' has continued to break records since its premiere two weeks ago., reaching the highest single-day views ever.

The South Korean rapper's highly anticipated follow-up to 'Gangnam Style' has also been viewed over 200 million times so far since its release, and continues to be a talking point across the Internet.

YouTube trends manager Kevin Allocca has now also confirmed that the music video has beat the single-day record of 30 million, set by the famous KONY 2012 short film, on its day of release back on 14th April.

PSY is now only short of one final record, the most viewed of all time on YouTube currently held by his previous single 'Gangnam Style' with over 1.5 billion views to date.

To celebrate the release of 'Gentleman' PSY held a special concert called 'Happening' in Seoul, South Korea, which saw him pay tribute to Beyonce with his own interpretation of her 'Single Ladies' dance routine.
