Bomb scare disrupts Pixie Lott's birthday

Pixie Lott was forced to bring an abrupt halt to her 20th birthday celebrations in London, following a bomb threat in the West End area of the capital.

Her party at the Movida nightclub had to be abandoned after police were alerted to a bomb threat at a nearby Regent Street store.

British R'n'B singer Jamelia was also celebrating her birthday at the nightspot, before police evacuated the venue. However Jamelia refused to let the incident spoil her night as in a post on her Twitter page later that evening, she wrote:

"Thanks to (my friends) Movida and all my amazing rebels for the best party... It was the BOMB (pun intended)."
