"It's gonna be unreal – such an unreal feeling for me," he confessed.
Speaking about the overwhelming support through his career, in particularly with the past 12 months in mind, he added: "You know the people of England have just been so incredible and so kind to me and N*E*R*D and The Neptunes…so to be able to come over and just play songs - I mean look what they did with 'Blurred Lines' and look what they did with 'Get Lucky' and 'Happy'.
"Thank you so much, thank you for the support. Please note that we hear about it all the way over here – it reverberates over here."
Pharrell will perform on a line-up which includes the likes of Miley Cyrus, 5 Seconds Of Summer, The Vamps, Ellie Goulding, David Guetta and Calvin Harris.
