One Direction star Harry Styles is seen posing in a prom picture taken before he joined the hugely successful boy band.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singer was pictured wearing a smart black suit and tie along with a pink corsage for the event, in pictures uploaded on Twitter.
One Direction returned to the UK this week after a successful trip to Sweden to begin working on their new album, the follow-up to their 2011 debut 'Up All Night'.
'Gotta Be You' singer Liam Payne updated fans on the band's recording process earlier this week when he described some of their new material as "amazing", and admitted he can't wait for people to hear the new songs.
One Direction are also set to join the likes of Usher and Emeli Sande on the line-up for the iTunes Festival this summer.
