The 'One Thing' stars have recorded a cover version of a Blondie classic which surfaced on the web last night.

One Direction fans have been taking to Twitter to hit out at those responsible for allowing the group's new charity single 'One Way Or Another' to leak online.

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers gave fans a small taster of the track this week, but a full version emerged on the web last night (5th February).

One follower of the group on Twitter wrote: "Do not illegally download One Way or Another! It's a CHARITY single, make sure your money goes to a good cause, not someone's back pocket!"

Another added: "Cannot believe someone has leaked One Direction's charity single for Comic Relief, the whole point in it is to raise money..."

There was equal disappointment from band member Louis Tomlinson upon hearing about the leak.

"I hear the charity single has been leaked. Very sad to see. Don't forget together we are trying to raise money for comic relief," he said.

The track will be released later this month to raise money for Red Nose Day 2013.

The five-piece are also due to perform the song during their appearance at the BRIT Awards on 23rd February.
