The 'Gotta Be You' singers say they hope fans like the songs they are recording for their next record.
One Direction have been recording in the studio this week working on their next album and say they can't wait for their fans to hear the new music.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers have promised "great songs" after starting the recording process this week, for the follow-up to their 2011 debut 'Up All Night'.
"Sorry guys just popping in the studio to record the new album :D xxx," Liam Payne tweeted yesterday (22nd June), while 'One Thing' singer Harry posted: "Can't wait to finish this album and for you guys to hear it… hope you like it! X."
Niall Horan also updated fans on the album's progress, and confirmed that The X Factor USA judge Simon Cowell had been to visit them in the studio.
He tweeted: "Great week in the studio with @savan_kotecha and @TheRamiYacoub, great songs! Good to have @simoncowell down today! Dallas we're comin!"
