One Direction's Liam Payne Reveals Damaged Kidney Is Working Again

The 'One Thing' star has suffered from a medical ailment since he was a baby.
One Direction singer Liam Payne has revealed that his previously damaged kidney is now working again.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' has suffered with a medical condition since a baby meaning he only had one functioning kidney.
Taking to his Twitter account yesterday (7th August), the star told his fans that an ultrasound scan revealed his kidney had "fixed" itself/
"Just been for an ultrasound on my kidney turns out its fixed from when I was a baby!!! :o so now I have two :) #weirdnewsoftheday," he tweeted.
A premature birth resulted in him having just one working kidney and he was forced to have 32 injections in his arm each day to help with the problem.
Meanwhile, the singer recently surprised fans at a shopping centre in London when he and band mate Niall Horan performed an acoustic set outside a store.
One Direction are also currently working on their new studio album and the follow up to the hugely successful 'Up All Night'.
