One Direction's Liam Payne Opens Up On Danielle Peazer Relationship "It Was "Hard"

The 'Kiss You' singer speaks about the difficulty of maintaining a relationship while in the band.

One Direction star Liam Payne has admitted it is "hard" to keep a relationship going while in the spotlight and on the road so much.

The 'Live While We're Young' singer split from girlfriend Danielle Peazer after over two years together back in May, and says he admires musicians who can make a romance last through a similar situation.

"It's something that is quite hard," Liam revealed in the new issue of Glamour magazine, when asked about having a romance in the public eye.

"People being a bit rude to [Danielle] on the Internet," Liam explained, when asked what had been difficult to deal with. "And it's a challenge having a relationship on the road.

"Credit to anybody that does it really," he added.

The 'Little Things' stars also opened up about their decision to avoid traditional boy band staples like choreographed dance routines, admitting they would look "silly" if they tried to do the same.

One Direction release new single 'Best Song Ever' on 22nd July with the release of their 3D concert movie This Is Us following in August.
