The 'Up All Night' star is seen checking his mobile phone during vocal sessions for the band's new album.
One Direction's Harry Styles has been catching up on his phone messages while in the studio working on the band's new album.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singer was pictured in the recording booth in a photo released on the band's official Twitter page.
Showing Harry reading updates on his phone, the accompanying message said: "Harry busy in the booth!"
One Direction are currently busy putting the finishing touches to their second album – the follow-up to 2011's 'Up All Night'.
Although the record has yet to be given an official release date, Niall Horan has promised that it will be released before the end of the year.

"At the moment we are in the studio alot lately! recording for album two which is comin at the end of the year!" Niall wrote in a blog on the band's website.
Niall said he played guitar on a lot of the songs and that the band had once again been working with the production team behind their biggest hits 'What Makes You Beautiful' and 'One Thing'.
He also teased their new collaboration with Ed Sheeran, describing it as "really exciting stuff".
