The 'Army Of Two' singer will help support the footballing body as it celebrates its 150th birthday.
Olly Murs has been named the official ambassador for the Football Association (FA).
The 'Army Of Two' singer and keen football fan will help support English football's governing body as it celebrates its 150th anniversary.
"I'm delighted be an official ambassador for The Football Association for its 150th anniversary year," the singer said.
"I'm a huge football fan and will be involved in FA events and initiatives over the course of this year. In particular, I want to help to showcase the amazing work The FA does at the grassroots level of the game."
The FA have also unveiled a special badge to celebrate the occasion, which features some of football's most memorable moments.
Meanwhile, Olly Murs has confirmed that his next single will be 'Army Of Two'.
The UK singer-songwriter was celebrating last week after picking up two nominations for this year's BRIT Awards , including both British Male Solo Artist and Best British Single With Capital FM for 'Troublemaker'.
