The 'Don't Look Back In Anger' star is said to have decided against joining the ITV show.
Former Oasis star Noel Gallagher has reportedly turned down an offer to join The X Factor UK over fears it would ruin his reputation.
The 'Wonderwall' singer was rumoured to have been approached by boss Simon Cowell to join the show's panel this year as a new judge, but Noel is believed to have politely declined the music mogul.
"Noel thinks it would be bad for his music if he joined," a source told the Daily Star this weekend. "Noel's told pals he doesn't need the fame or the money and his fans wouldn't be impressed."
The Noel Gallagher & The High Flying Birds frontman was originally approached to join The X Factor UK way back in 2011, and the new offer was said to have been in the region of £2 million.
It is widely reported that Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger will all return to the show this year, although Nicole was reportedly quoted admitting she is "torn" about whether so sacrifice work on her solo career for the show.

Tulisa Contostavlos' spot on the judging panel has recently been called into question with many linking Sharon Osbourne to a return in her place.
The X Factor UK is expected to announce the official 2013 judging panel in the coming months.
