Nicole Scherzinger "Heartbroken" After Lewis Hamilton Split?

The 'Right There' singer and the Formula One ace ended their five year romance this past week.

Nicole Scherzinger has apparently been left "heartbroken" after it was claimed she and Lewis Hamilton ended their relationship this past week.

The 'Don't Hold Your Breath' singer had been dating the Formula One star for five years – with claims their romance ended due to busy conflicting schedules.

The news came as even more of a surprise recently following Lewis Hamilton's quotes that he was planning on proposing to The X Factor judge within a year's time.

"They'd been talking about marriage so you can imagine how upsetting this whole thing has been for her," a source told the Daily Mirror.

The insider continued: "They're both very busy people and have been forced to spend a lot of time apart. Sometimes they would barely see each other for weeks on end. It was hard to keep the relationship going from afar." 

The source also said that this is not necessarily the definitive end for the couple.

"Who knows whether things might change in a year's time," they added. "They do still love each other, but they are not together as it stands."

Meanwhile, Nicole is currently heading around the UK for the latest batch of auditions for the next series of The X Factor.
