The 'Try With Me' singer was held up by several armed, masked men on a recent trip to the country while on her way to shoot the video for her latest single.
Nicole Scherzinger was reportedly held at gunpoint by a local gang in Mexico while filming her last music video in the country earlier this year.
The X Factor USA judge was travelling to the remote Xilitla rainforest to film the video for 'Try With Me' back in October when the incident is said to have occurred.
Nicole and choreographer Brian Friedman were being driven in a bullet-proof SUV when a gang of around a dozen masked men all armed with machine guns surrounded them and tried to gain access to the vehicle.
"We were held at gunpoint – people next to our cars," Brian confirmed to Star magazine. "There were M16s and Berettas.
"Nicole cursed me with this trip. It was the craziest adventure ever."
The 'Wet' singer and the rest of her team were eventually rescued by local police officers and no one was injured in the incident.
Nicole Scherzinger performed on The X Factor USA for the first time last night (15th December) when she sang new track 'Pretty' for the live studio audience.
