Nicki Minaj Wows Fans With 'Starships' Live Performance On The Today Show In America

The 'Fly' rapper was decked out in red for her high-octane live performance today in the US.

Nicki Minaj performed her hit single 'Starships' live on The Today Show earlier this morning (14th August).

The 'Beez In The Trap' rapper wowed fans at the Rockefeller Center studios in New York City today with an energetic live performance of her recent hit single, as well as 'I Am Your Leader'.

Nicki wore a bright red outfit for the performance, while wearing her hair blonde, long and curly, and descended from the stage halfway through her set to get up close and personal with the fans in attendance.

The 'Right By My Side' rapper is currently touring across the US with rapper 2 Chainz, and recently sent a special message out thanking fans for their support.

"Barbz, its been an honour performing for u," Nicki tweeted this week. "U played the most important role on this tour. I could never thank u snuff #Versatile #OpenMinded."

Nicki Minaj will arrive back in the UK this autumn to bring her tour here, in support of second studio album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'.

She will begin the UK leg of her tour at the Nottingham Capital FM Arena on 21st October.
