Niall Horan took to Twitter in the early hours of this morning to address why he keeps his private life away from the spotlight – moments after coming face to face with ex girlfriend Hailee Steinfield.
Niall Horan told fans on Twitter in the early hours of this morning that he “keeps his head down” and “keeps his life private”.
The honest tweet to his 39.3 million followers came hours after he risked a run-in with ex-girlfriend Hailee Steinfield at a Grammys after party.
The exes crossed paths at a shindig in LA for the Universal Music Party on Sunday night, just weeks after they split in December.
While they never publicly confirmed their one-year relationship, Hailee and Niall were reported to have parted ways due to conflicting schedules.
Following the late-night ‘do on Sunday, Niall took to Twitter to respond to a fan who praised him for protecting his privacy.
Listen there’s nothing we can do about that, If we dont get nominated that’s fine . Let’s just relish it when/ if we do.— Niall Horan (@NiallOfficial) February 11, 2019
The fan wrote: “I like how you are so private with your life and how little by little you tells [sic] us your things. You're so cute. thank you Niall for trust in us!!”
Niall replied to the fan: “Keep my head down, keep my life private and work hard, that’s what I’m here for.”
The One Direction star’s response to the fan was just one in a string of replies to a number of his loyal followers.
Fans rushed to support the singer after it emerged he hadn’t received any nominations for the Grammys this year.
However, he put on a brave face and assured fans: “Listen there’s nothing we can do about that, If we don’t get nominated that’s fine . Let’s just relish it when/ if we do.”
