The 'Beautiful Monster' singer says he is a big fan of shows like The X Factor and American Idol.
Ne-Yo has teased a potential new role on the next series of The X Factor USA following rumours he is set to join the show in an undisclosed role.
The 'Let Me Love You' singer has made regular appearances on talent television shows in both the US and the UK over the years, and was recently linked to a potential judging role on the US version of Simon Cowell's popular reality show.
"As of right now it's not something I can really talk about," Ne-Yo told Digital Spy, when asked about the rumours. "I need to keep that under wraps.
"Just know that if and when it happens, the world will know," the R&B star explained, before going on to talk about his love for talent shows. "I definitely have an appreciation for those kinds of shows.
"Any show that facilitates an artist furthering their career and pursuing their dreams, I'm all for it," Ne-Yo added.

Rumours about potential new judges on The X Factor USA have been circulating for several weeks now, ever since both Britney Spears and LA Reid confirmed they would not be returning to the show.
Ne-Yo has been touring the UK for the past several weeks performing at arenas to promote his 'R.E.D.' album, with both Tulisa Contostavlos and Conor Maynard as tour support acts.
