It was always Michael Jackson's dream to turn his hit Thriller into a film.
Well, now some 16 months after his death, the dream looks set to come true.
Word is 'This Is It' director Kenny Ortega will take charge of the project which Hollywood studios will be fighting to produce. Summit, makers of the Twilight series, Lionsgate and Twentieth Century Fox are all reportedly interested in buying the rights
The Thriller video, shot by John Landis is widely regarded as the best music video of all time and a Guinnes World Record holder, having sold more than 9 million copiies.
Earlier this week it was revealed Jackson was the highest earning dead celebrity of the last 12 months beating Elvis and JRR Tolkein.
