Matt's £8,000 New Year bar bill

Sounds like X-Factor winner Matt Cardle's being living the rock and roll lifestyle.

Reports out today claim the 27 year old racked up a New Year's Eve drinks bill of £8,000.

According to The Sun he was partying in Newcastle with his X-Factor friend and fellow finalist Aiden Grimshaw. The pair enjoyed a night out at the city's Tup Tup Palace nightclub.

Then it's said the pair had to leave by the back door of the exclusive club at 3am to avoid waiting fans.

It was then back to the hotel for another three hours of partying.
