Mariah Carey Says Nick Cannon "Stable" After Kidney Operation

The 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' singer is hoping the comedian will be out of hospital within two days.

Mariah Carey says her husband Nick Cannon is in a stable condition after having an operation on his kidneys.

The 'Hero' singer confirmed earlier this week that Nick had been admitted to hospital after "mild kidney failure" and updated fans on his recover this evening (6^th January).

"Nick is in a stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he'll be discharged within 2 days," Mariah tweeted. "As always he's laughing and in good spirits."

The America's Got Talent host gave an update himself tonight after posting a message about his operation.

"Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. #OUCH," Nick tweeted.

Mariah previously asked fans to pray for the comedian after revealing he was in a lot of pain from his health issues.
