The 'Girl Gone Wild' singer says she is upset at the designer's comments about the British star's weight.
Madonna has hit back at fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld for calling Adele "too fat", saying it is "the most ridiculous thing" she has ever heard.
The 'Set Fire To The Rain' star was criticised by the Chanel designer early last month forcing him to quickly apologise for the remarks saying he was misquoted.
However, the Queen of pop told The Sun that she doesn't like anybody being picked on for their weight as their talent should be all that counts.
She confessed: "That's horrible. That's ridiculous, that's just the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I don't like it when anybody says anything bad about anyone — I don't like it. Adele's a great talent and how much she weighs has nothing to do with it."
The 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' star also gave some advice to the Grammy and BRIT Award winning star on sustaining longevity in the music business.
She added: "The thing for Adele to remember is at the end of the day, whether you rise or fall, it has so much to do with how you sustain yourself and keep your integrity and your inner strength.
"It is all about who you surround yourself with — friends and people who really do care about you, and care about your well-being beyond being a superstar. That's the most important thing."
Meanwhile, Madonna is currently preparing for her new worldwide tour and recently posted up a set of pictures showing the cuts and bruises she has sustained during rehearsals for the jaunt.
