The 'Wings' four-piece's record producer says they have a similar energy to the popular US trio.

Little Mix's debut album will reportedly be a "girl power" record similar to girl bands like Destiny's Child, according to one of their producers.

The 'Wings' singers, who won the 2011 series of The X Factor eight months ago, have been working on their debut for the past few months and US producer Jim Beanz says when he worked with the girls they reminded him of Destiny's Child when they first arrived on the music scenes.

"They remind me of Destiny's Child when they first came out," Jim revealed to the Daily Star On Sunday this week. "They have the same energy and individual styles.

Jim, who worked on several tracks for Cheryl Cole's recent release 'A Million Lights' also teased the direction Little Mix have gone in with their debut, and promised it will be full of dance floor hits.

"They told me they were looking for up-temp, dancey clubbing records," he explained "I got the girls in the booths, we had a great session and got two great tracks.

"They were going for a very strong, independent, girl power-type album."

Earlier this week the four girls starred in a brand new TV advert for the new series of The X Factor discussing their time on the show and how it had impacted their life.

Little Mix are set to release new single 'Wings' on 19th August with an album release date yet to be confirmed.
