Lawson have released behind the scenes footage from the making of the official music video to their debut single 'When She Was Mine'.

The group introduce the footage on the rooftop with a view of downtown Los Angeles and Joel admits how "awesome" the video will look.

Andy can be seen reveling in the excitement of getting behind the wheel of a classic 50's Mercedes car during a scene as he introduces Angelica – who plays the love interest in the promo.

The band also reveal that they were removed from the set during an intimate scene involving front man Andy and the female co-star on the set for fear of their ridicule of their band mate.

Bass player Ryan ends the clip by stating "this has been the best day of our lives easily".

Meanwhile, the band recently told Capital they would love to team up with Kelly Clarkson on a duet in the future and revealed they have huge admiration for BRIT Award winner Ed Sheeran.
