The 'When She Was Mine' stars have vowed to "rock" Wembley Stadium with their set today.

Lawson have promised to "rock" Wembley Stadium later today when they perform at the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2012.

Andy, Adam, Joel and Ryan are set to take to the stage at the iconic stadium today (9th June), and have described their slot on the annual radio event as a "momentous occasion" for the band.

"Goodnight people! Gonna ROCk Wembley stadium tomorrow!" Bassist Ryan Fletcher tweeted last night.

"What a huge day in the Lawson journey," singer Andy Brown posted this morning. "From playing a s**t pub in clapham getting heckled, to playing Wembley Stadium. Momentous occasion."

The band also joked about accidentally revealing the Breakers line-up of themselves, Cover Drive, Rita Ora and Conor Maynard last month on Capital FM.

They tweeted: "Hoping we don't get beats from @wearecoverdrive @conormaynard or @ritaora after Ryan blabbed about the line up the other week! #CapitalSTB."

The 'When She Was Mine' singers completed their soundcheck at yesterday and posted on Twitter about getting to fulfil a dream by walking out onto the Wembley pitch in the England football kit.

Other acts set to perform at the Summertime Ball 2012 today include Katy Perry, Usher, The Wanted, Flo Rida and Jessie J.
