Lawson Hail "Insane" Shepherd's Bush Empire Gig In London On 'Chapman Square' UK Tour

The 'Learn To Love Again' four-piece have also been celebrating their debut album going gold.

Lawson have hailed their concert at the Shepherd's Bush Empire in London last night (1st March) as a "dream come true".

The 'Taking Over Me' four-piece brought their 'Chapman Square' tour to the UK capital on Friday night, after performing across the likes of Sheffield, Leeds and Glasgow over the past week.

Andy Brown, Adam Pitts, Ryan Fletcher and Joel Peat said the concert at London's iconic venue had been "insane" and named it as a very special night for them personally.

"Shepherds bush. Tonight was a dream come true. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou xxx," drummer Adam Pitts tweeted after the concert, while guitarist Joel posted: "I can't tell you how awesome that was. I'm gonna go drink for every one of you, let's see how that goes."

"Sold out Shepherd's Bush Empire… tonight is a very special night… if you're here tonight you will see why!" bassist Ryan Fletcher posted. "Tonight will stay with us forever!

"Shepherd's Bush Empire!! That was insane!! London I one you," Ryan later added after the gig.

The 'Standing In The Dark' four-piece also had other cause to celebrate this week after it was announced their debut album 'Chapman Square' has sol over 100,000 copies in the four months since its release.

"My sleeping partner last night #Proud #GoldDisk #100,000," Andy tweeted this morning (2nd March) alongside a picture of him hugging a gold disk trophy in honour of the achievement.

Lawson are set to continue their 'Chapman Square' UK tour with a show at Bristol's O2 Academy on Tuesday (5th March) before heading on to perform shows across cities including Nottingham, Bournemouth and Norwich.
