When 1D won the Song Of The Summer award at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, Gaga heard some of the audience booing the band amidst the cheering. She told the boys afterwards, "If I did hear what I heard out there, I just want to tell you that you deserve every bit of success that you have. Don't you dare let those people boo you.
