Lady Gaga reveals ‘Hair’ inspiration

Lady Gaga has revealed the truth behind new track ‘Hair’ during an interview with Rich Clarke.

The ‘Judas’ singer joined Rich Clarke in the studio to talk about her forthcoming album when she revealed the extent of her childhood taunts.

“I wore a uniform for school so my hair was my glory.” The star revealed. “I used to get made fun of by other girls in the school because I used to do my hair really pretty for school”

Mother Monster continued to explain the effect this had on her family life revealing, “My mother used to get mad at me because she thought I looked crazy with my hair-dos”

Gaga went on to describe her hair as a ‘representation of identity’

Hair’ itself was released as a promotional single last Monday and shot straight into the iTunes Top 3.

The track features on Gaga’s new album ‘Born This Way’ out on Monday.
