Lady Gaga 'Hero of the year'

Lady Gaga's beaten Kanye West to win Hero of the Year at the NME Awards.
Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and Gerard Way from the band My Chemical Romance were also nominated for the award.
However Gaga couldn't make it a double. She lost out in the Most Stylish category to Brandon Flowers and in the 'Least Stylish' to Justin Bieber.
Villian of the Year went to David Cameron ahead of Simon Cowell, Bieber and Axl Rose. Least Stylish went to Justin Bieber ahead of Cheryl Cole, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, Liam Gallagher
Bieber's 'My World' won Worst Album ahead of Cheryl Cole – 'Messy Little Raindrops', Katy Perry – 'Teenage Dream', Kings Of Leon – 'Come Around Sundown' and My Chemical Romance – 'Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys'.
