The singer is due to attend official opening at Harvard University.
Lady Gaga has said she is "so excited" to open her Born This Way Foundation.
Named after the singer's album and single of the same name, the foundation also has the support of Lady Gaga's mother, Cynthia Germanotta.
The pair will attend the launch at the Harvard Graduate School Of Education later today (29th February).
In a message on Twitter, she wrote: "I'm so excited to launch the BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION at Harvard with my mom tomorrow.
"I'll be there with an amazing repertoire of experts."
Speaking about the foundation last year, Lady Gaga's mother Cynthia said it was "born out of [Lady Gaga's] passion to create a better world where people are kinder and nicer to one another and are accepted for who they are, regardless of how different they may be".
The Born This Way Foundation launch will be streamed live on the internet via the foundation's official webstie.
