The 'Bad Romance' singer will be forced to cancel her performance in Indonesia following protests in the country.

Lady Gaga will have to cancel her sold out 'Born This Way Ball' show in Indonesia after she was denied a permit due to protests by Islamic hard-liners and conservative lawmakers, who have said the singer's outfits and dance moves will corrupt the youth.

The 'You & I' star had been due to perform in Jakarta's 52,000 seater Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on 3rd June, however, police denied the permit citing security issues as one of the main influential factors in the decision.

The gig would have been the biggest show on her Asian leg of her current world tour although there has been no official statement from the singer or her representatives as of yet.

Gaga will head to the UK for the European leg of her tour later this year which will see her perform two dates at Twickenham Stadium as well as a show at the Manchester Arena.
