Kelly Clarkson Hails Selena Gomez As "Sexy" and "Beautiful" After VMAs 2013

The 'Dark Side' singer took to Twitter to reveal her admiration for the US pop star.

Kelly Clarkson took to Twitter this week to praise Selena Gomez as "beautiful" and "classy" after seeing her attend the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 on Sunday (25th August).

The 'Catch My Breath' singer posted a tweet to the 'Come & Get It' star to hail her style and good looks, while also referencing the fact that both pop stars originally hail from Texas.

"Dear Selena Gomez, you are by far one of the most beautiful, sexy, classy things on this planet. #Goddidgood #texasgirls," Kelly tweeted to the US pop star this week, to which Selena then replied: "@Kelly_Clarkson Thank you :) #thebiggerthehairclosertoGod #lovemesometexans."

Kelly's comments come fresh from her seemingly criticising some of the performances at the VMAs this year, when she described "a couple performances" as being like "#pitchystrippers".

Kelly Clarkson is currently recording a Christmas album for release by the end of the year and is expected to return with her seventh studio album in 2014.
