The 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' singer says "the show must go on" after hurting her ankle during a show.
Kelly Clarkson has revealed she is wheelchair bound while recovering from a painful foot injury she sustained during a live performance last weekend.
The 'Dark Side' singer hurt one of her feet after falling during a show at Milwaukee's Summerfest on Friday (29th June), but has posted a picture of herself still smiling and soldiering on with performances and promotional appearances.
"Sprained my foot and have a hairline fracture but the show must go on people ha!" Kelly tweeted on Tuesday (3rd July) alongside a snap of her resting the injured foot in a wheelchair. "Thank you @ashes2lashes & @Jillandkate for the help!"
Armed with both a pair of crutches and a wheel chair Kelly has continued to promote her recent fifth studio album 'Stronger', and performed in Texas last night (4th July) to celebrate Independence Day in the US.
"I had a lot of fun tonight in Fort Hood, Texas celebrating the 4th of July! Thanks for inviting us!" Kelly posted yesterday. "Thank you so much to the military for all you do and the sacrifices you make every day!"

Last month Kelly spoke out about her decision to give her song 'Tell Me A Lie' to UK boy band One Direction for their 2011 album 'Up All Night', explaining that she only gives her songs to artists and bands she likes and says she enjoyed the band's story and their "innocence".
Kelly Clarkson is currently touring across America promoting her new record and is due to arrive for a short tour of the UK in October this year.
