Katy Perry Smoulders In New Farm-Themed Vogue US Photo Shoot

The 'Firework' star mixes up Hollywood glamour with rural America in the sultry new shoot.

Katy Perry is seen posing in her first ever Vogue US cover shoot this week, where she also gave a revealing interview about her marriage to Russell Brand and her failed relationship with John Mayer.

The 'Teenage Dream' singer features on the cover of the publication's July issue, for the very first time, and poses for a nature-themed photoshoot in the newly published magazine.

In one of the pictures Katy is seen posing outside a traditional American farm house next to a group of chickens while dressed in a luxurious baroque style ball gown, while another sees her reclining on a bale of hay while wearing a glamorous Hollywood style gown and picture perfect make-up.

In the accompanying interview, Katy reveals she hasn't heard from ex-husband Russell Brand since he text her in December 2011 requesting a divorce, and says he didn't like her being "the boss" during their 14 month marriage.

The 'California Gurls' singer also opens up on her recently ended romance with US singer-songwriter John Mayer, saying she is still "madly in love" with him but describing him as a "beautiful mind" but a "tortured soul".
